Sharable - Free social sharing plugin for Joomla!

June 26th Joomla Extensions \ Plugins Download the new free Joomla plugin - Sharable. It will place interactive badges on your site with a very clean and classy layout, very similar to Mashable.com or TechCrunch.com's social sharing buttons. The "Social Bookmarking" internet craze has made a shift to social sharing. Instead of wanting to store up links on social bookmarking sites like Digg.com or Delicious.com, people are becoming more interested in sharing directly with others in real time through sites like Twitter and Facebook.

 

While we've had tremendous success with the Ultimate Social Bookmarking plugin (well over 32,000 downloads!), we recognize that it is no longer the ideal social sharing solution for most websites. Sharable directly mimicks sites like Mashable.com and TechCrunch.com, prominent tech news websites that display their social sharing options in a clean and classy way. This new uncluttered layout has proven successful and is now available as a simple Joomla! plugin you can install and configure on your website without having to work with any code.

• CSS styling is pre-configured, but you can edit the included CSS file or set the inline styles from the plugin settings
• Choose to place buttons at the top or bottom of content (or not at all) for article previews
• Choose to place buttons at the top or bottom of content (or not at all) for full articles
• Choose which buttons to display and which variation of each button, separately for article previews and full article views
• Exclude specific categories where you don't want to display these buttons (specify 0 to hide the buttons on uncategorized articles)
