Hi, I get this error on several of my pages on my site. Any clue?

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$catid in D:\inetpub\wwwroot\plugins\content\ultimate_social_bookmarking_plugin.php on line 77

I have check this line in the .php file and it's here:

// Check if this content item is in an excluded category
$excluded = explode (",", $excludeCategories);
foreach ($excluded as $ex)
{
if ($article->catid == trim($ex))
{
$validArticle = false;
}
}

Any clue to what causes this problem?

I'm having the same issue.

I cannot provide an URL since it's on my local test site.

Joomla 1.5.5.

Best.

Is this in the content component or some other component?

For example, I see it on the frontpage above the content in the middle.
I also see it on pages with "Section Layout".
I do not have it on individual article pages.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks
Dajo

You need to turn off mambots for all your modules. Check the "Information and Tutorials" -> "Performance" section of this site for more info.

Okay, so now I have read the article, but sorry if it sounds stupid to you, but how in the world do you actually turn this off? I have check in the module, no luck, there is no option for turning off mambots.Also I am not using mambots, since I use Joomla 1.5.6(latest, just upgraded)

I must not have understood you correctly. Give a link so I can see the problem.

I have to admit I'm completely in the same place as Ervik78.
I have read the article too and have no clue what to do.

The article states "Turn "Mambots" to Off in each of those modules' settings". My questions are:
  • What modules? What are "user" modules, how to identify them?

  • Where do you turn Mambots off? I cannot find any checkbox, radio button or whatever to do this in Joomla 1.5.6? (and I believe I've turned every rock there)

  • Thanks for your effort!

    I should have been more specific, that was only for Joomla 1.0.x web sites. I looked over Joomla 1.5 and found that the CustomHTML module is the most similar as the User module, but it doesn't have any settings for running plugins on its content or not.

    As I said in my last post, I don't think I really understand what your problem is. Please give a link so I can take a look at the error. Thanks.

    Jep! Got the same problem. I'm migrating J!1.0.15 with the plugin to J!1.5.6 on the same server. Server config:
    Käyttöjärjestelmä: Linux srv6.louhi.net 2.6.9-34.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Mar 8 00:27:03 CST 2006 i686
    Tietokannan versio (MySQL): 4.1.20
    PHP versio: 5.1.1
    Web-palvelin: Apache
    Web-palvelin - PHP rajapinta: cgi-fcgi
    eXtplorer versio: 2.0.0
    Selaimen versio: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; fi; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1
    Tärkeät PHP-asetukset:
    Safe Mode: Päällä
    Open basedir: none
    PHP-virheet: Pois
    Short Open Tags: Pois
    Tiedostojen lataaminen palvelimelle: Pois
    Magic Quotes: Pois
    Register Globals: Päällä
    Output Buffer: Päällä
    XML käytössä: Kyllä
    ZLIB käytössä: Kyllä
    Estetyt funktiot: show_source, system, shell_exec, passthru, exec, popen, proc_open, php_info

    Sorry about the finnish language paste, here's a short "dictionary":
    Päällä = On
    Pois = Off
    Kyllä = Yes
    Estetyt funktiot = Disabled functions

    I'll send you a username and password so that you can check the site, it's offline under the migration.

    The problem occurs on savonseta.fi but of course the error message is hidden from a production site. The whole plugin is now disabled because it also caused:
    Fatal error: Class 'ContentHelperRoute' not found in /var/www/html/plugins/content/ultimate_social_bookmarking_plugin.php on line 242

    when trying to get to the Events calendar event details view. (This has been earlier documented with the core component weblinks but has no solution.)

    The next version will fix this by only running on content items.

    I'll have to look into the catid issue as well. For now just turn off error reporting on your site configuration, the error isn't actually hurting anything.
